John BenjaminBENTJohn Benjamin Bent passed away peacefully in his sleep on 9th February, aged 75. He will be much missed by his children Gavin, Ian and Sara, his brothers Graham and Gary, and by his extended family.

John, A.K.A the Gentle Giant, or Santa to some, was well known and loved both locally and from his time spent living and travelling away. He leaves behind a great number of friends that he's made throughout his life, and his kindness and generosity will be missed by so many.

All are welcome to join in John's send off, held at Crewe Crematorium at 12.15, Friday 28th February, followed by a wake at The Sydney Arms. Family flowers only please; donations welcome to The Hub. www.justgiving.com/campaign/johnbent

To Gavin, Ian, Sara, Vi and his close family.
Sincere condolences from your family in OZ,
I will miss my lovely uncle and his funny character. He always wanted to arrange a meet when I was back home in the UK. It was great that he cared so much, his personality filled the room. You will be so sadly missed, by us all. Strength to you all, be strong together, and share the love.

John.. You have simply been an Amazing friend, especially these last four years. You took time to help not just myself but our Dad aswell during the worst time of his life. Supporting us all through loosing Mum & Dad.
Always letting me know you were there Anytime. Wanting nothing for yourself. We are all really going to miss our evenings out and I’m already missing our chats and your calm demeanour.
Sleep tight Dear Friend you will always be in our hearts.
