ViolaBENJAMINSadly, Viola Benjamin passed away on Monday, January 6th. Born in St.Kitts, West Indies, Viola
came to the UK, married Leonard Benjamin and had three children - Anthony, Cassandra and Monica. Viola spent most of her life at 27 Cort Crescent, Braunstone where she was recognised for her kindness and sense of humour. Viola was a unique and unforgettable character who loved making people laugh whether on the bus, church or her beloved bingo nights. Viola has left a lasting impression on all those who knew her and will be badly missed by so many.

Viola's funeral service will take place at Gilroes Crematorium on Wednesday January 22nd at 12pm. A celebration of her life will take place at the Civic Centre, 209 Kingsway, Braunstone Town, Leicester LE3 2PP.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are sent to the Caribbean Court Day Centre.
