IanBELSHAWFormerly of Rossendale, passed away on February 3 at the Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 81 years. Trained as a pattern makers at 16 years, then worked in the family business Joseph Belshaw and Son in Haslingden. He then started the picture framing business in Haslingden Ann Belshaw Gallery, prior to retirement he worked as a transport manager for TNT. Ian enjoyed caravanning and his motor home, fishing and he was an active member at the Brass Banding Community - Grange Brass and Barnoldswick Band. He was also an active Freemason. Ian enjoyed family holidays, spending time with his grandchildren and woodwork. He was a member of the Red Rose Land Rover Club and enjoyed watching his grandsons playing in the band and Rugby. Ian leaves behind his wife Ann, three daughters Andrea, Heather and Claire, three sons in laws Andrew, Javan, Matthew. Seven grandchildren Grace, Robert, Thomas, Laurence, Harry, George and Ava, as well as nephew and niece. The Funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 19 at Accrington Crematorium conducted by Father Christ Gorton at 9.40am. Family flowers only and donations to RNLI and Penleside Hospice.
