Derek ArthurBELLPassed away peacefully on the 5th June 2020 aged 88 years. Very much loved husband of Valerie. Beloved dad of Jenny, Joanne, Cathy, Deena, Carla and Lisa. Grandpa/grandad and great-grandad. Brother to Michael and wife Pat, David and wife Natasha, Sue and husband John. Derek will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. "Memories of a true gentleman will remain in our hearts forever". xxx Derek's funeral service will take place on Friday 26th June 2020 at 4.00pm at Countesthorpe Crematorium, Foston Road, Leicester, LE8 5QP. Donations would be gratefully received in memory of Derek and should be made payable to SANE. To My dearest father.
There is not a day that goes by when we girls think about you and miss you terribly.
So many things unsaid, so much heart break losing you.
Love you tons Dad, you didn't deserve to suffer the way you did.

Dad, we lost you a year ago today.
I am so sorry we couldn't fulfil your wishes to die at home, that memory will always haunt us.
We love you and miss you, you left a huge gap in our lives.
Peace after pain, I only hope he was waiting for you as was promised.
