I first met Hilary when we attended Manchester Training College when we were 18 years old. With our other companion Kate we formed an unbreakable friendship which has endured for over 60 years.
Although we went our separate ways we always kept in touch. It is with great sadness that I mourn her passing.

Given in memory of Hilary Behenna.

Although it is difficult to see beyond the sorrow of Hilary's passing and we may shed tears that she is gone we also smile because she has lived a long and fruitful life within a loving family and we send our love and deepest sympathy to her husband Norman and family. In memory of Hilary we make this donation to Alzheimer's Research UK so that they can continue their work to support and research Dementia.

What a vivacious lady. Loaned her a maxi dress once - purple of course, for her to perform
When I am old, I shall wear purple. Done with great vivacity. Laughed my socks off.
Rest awhile now, Hilary.
