He will be sorely missed in both Ireland and the UK. He died at home.

Dearie me Cuz - you’ve left us in a right pickle. We enjoyed your visits over and you always gave a sympathetic ear to our moanings and grumblings. You had such a kind heart in looking after and out for everyone else. Rest easy, rest in love and rest in peace ♥️🌺

So sad to hear of Derry’s passing. He had always close contacts with his father Peter’s hometown of Ballyshannon in Donegal Ireland. We were delighted to meet up with him a few weeks ago when he met up with his Uncles Paddy and Anthony and Aunt Delia and their siblings Irene, Fiona and Sorcha. As always he was kind and considerate and very interested in how the family were getting on. He will be sadly missed and we send our support to his mother Janet and sisters Liz and Claire at this sad time. Anthony and Marie Begley
