TomBEECHWith heavy hearts the family announce Tom, aged 80 years, of Keele, Newcastle-under-Lyme born in Ball Green, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday 18th September 2024 surrounded by his much-loved family.
Tom was a very active man, playing tennis, bowls, table tennis, badminton and cycling right up until February of this year. His can-do attitude, ability to tell a story, make people laugh and willingness to help anyone who may need it has left a lasting mark on everyone he met and who he considered friends. He was a proper gentleman which especially shone through as he battled with his illness, always having a smile and a handshake for anyone, from friends to medical professionals, who came to visit him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by many.

Funeral service and cremation to take place on Tuesday 15th October at Bradwell Crematorium at 12 noon. Relatives and friends please accept this as an invitation to help celebrate his life by meeting at the Crematorium.
The family respectfully request, in lieu of floral tributes, that donations be made in memory of Tom to the Dougie Mac Hospice.

Tom was full of tales, laughter and kindness for anyone in need.
His competitiveness and sporting brilliance until just a couple of months before his 80th birthday was incredible, he never gave up and always gave 100% which brought out the best in everyone around him too.
He'll always be fondly remembered for his love for his family and friends, his infectious laugh, his ability to tell funny tales about anything he'd seen or done and his love of talking 🥰

Tom was certainly a larger-than-life individual, who had so many stories to tell and cups of tea to drink! I will remember Tom for his kindness, laughter and for always showing up with a bag of oatcakes in hand. Lots of love, Harriet & family xx
