So many memories over 46 years,I could write a book,
My friend, the sister I never had, we laughed together and cried with laughter,
Shared so many memories in the last decade, where did the years go,
Forever in my heart ,,

We’ve known Penny for over 40 years and her passing is like losing a member of the family.
There are so many memories the first, and the most important, was our first meeting when, following an accident in the kitchen, Penny jumped into action when the ambulance turned up. Other than saying hello we didn’t know her.but we gave her our house keys and she looked after our dog and so began a lifelong friendship of fun and laughter, bbq’s in the garden singing twinkle, twinkle little star, shopping trips to Manchester and after Jenny dropped Derek off at work a voice would be heard saying ‘time for coffee’. So many happy memories and times shared together . Thank you Penny for being such a good friend and always there in times of happiness and giving help when needed.
One final time: ‘twinkle, twinkle little star’.
Rest in peace with Derek.
