Mitchell JohnBATESMitchell passed away on 3rd February 2025 aged 97 years.
His wife Beryl, and the rest of his close family, had visited him or were with him at the end.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 74 years, his two sons, five grandchildren and two great grandsons.
He was, and remains, much loved and we count ourselves blessed to have had such a wonderful person in our lives.
"I love you grandad, you're an inspiration" was one of the last things he heard. Too true.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
The Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday 12th March, 12 noon at Haycombe Valley Chapel.
Family flowers only Donations in memory of Mitchell are being collected for RNIB and The Enterprise Club for Disabled People.
