I was deeply saddened to hear of Emma’s passing. I remember her very fondly from my primary school days and she was such a beautiful person in every sense of the word. My heart goes out to all her family, especially to Marion who I had the pleasure to get to know when I had play dates or attended parties at Emma’s childhood home. It’s lovely to learn that she went on to have three children, and that her legacy will live on through them. Always remembered. With love, Laura Barker (nee Brookes)

I've only just found out she is gone. I made a very difficult and truly horrible decision many many years ago to let Emma go so she could get her dream of being married with kids. Im so glad she got that, i hate the pain it caused but im so thankfull she got her dream, even for the short time she had it.

Hi my heart goes out to all the family during this awful time,I met Emma briefly while I was having radiotherapy at Cheltenham oncology and she was a brave and positive lady who like myself got cancer fairly early in her life.
I too have children and hope that she will live on in them.
Lots of love and condolences to all who knew her
They say the good die young and that was certainly true in this instance no matter how unfair it is
