With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Roy, son of the late Roy and Joan Aston. Dad to Sophie, Grandad to Layton and Darcie. Brother to Jan, Ant and the late Suey, Frankie and Jen. Brother-in-Law and Uncle.
Friend to many and brother to all his colleagues in the armed forces.
Roy who departed on 27 October 2024. He will be forever remembered for his love of his army life, his generosity and his sense of humour.
Funeral Service Details
Date: Monday 25 November 2024
Time: 10:30am
Location: The Old Chapel, Etruria Old Road, Etruria, Stoke on Trent ST1 5PE.
Followed by interment at the Birches Crematorium and Remembrance Park, Birches Lane. Lostock Green, Lach Dennis, Cheshire. CW9 7SU.
Friends, family, and all those touched by Roy’s life are welcome to join us in honouring his memory. Following the service, we will gather for a reception at Weston Coyney Private Club. Caverswall Road. Weston Coyney, Stoke on Trent ST3 6PE.
We kindly request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Airbourne Charity (Armed Forces) in Roy’s memory.
