I played cricket with Dave for many years at Plain an Gwarry, he was a decent all round player, a good bowler a good eye for a bad ball plus a safe pair of hands, I liked him, my sincere condolences to his family

I am so sorry for your loss. Dave was a charming, funny and highly professional individual, that I had the pleasure of knowing at RAF Waddington. When we went upstairs to the met office, if Dave was on duty, we knew that we were in good hands. Please send my regards to his family, Guy Harvey.

This is very sad news. What a lovely guy Dave was. I only knew him professionally as a Met briefer to aircrew, but he was always friendly and cheerful. Condolences to his family.
