Gerard AnthonyALLANDr Gerard Anthony Allan, engineer 61. Our beloved father, husband, son and brother passed away on June 28th 2024 from brain cancer. He was born on the 11th of April in Edinburgh to Jack and Ellen Allan. On 25th July 1998, he married Kathreena Mary Kurian; Gerard is survived by his loving mother, wife, brother John, sisters Mary, Margaret, Christine, Clare, Grace, Irene and two beloved daughters Sarina aged 22 and Christina aged 17. Funeral service will be held on 20th July 2024, Sacred Heart Church, Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol.

My twin David and I lost contact with Gerry after school and University but are not surprised to see that he made a great success of his life and career. As St Thomas’ Dux he showed the academic promise that was to distinguish him.
David was remembering also his warmth and infectious sense of humour today. We were both very sad to read of Gerry’s untimely death and offer our condolences to his family at this Christmas time when you will miss him intensely.
