DavidADLEROn 5th May 2023, David Adler, a long standing member of Laurieston Hall Housing Co-operative, Laurieston, Castle Douglas, died peacefully at home. A celebration of his life will take place at Ernespie House Hotel, Castle Douglas on Friday 2nd June at 2:00pm. All friends are respectfully invited to attend. If you would like to join us in celebrating David's life, please send an email to david318@btinternet.com. A private family burial will precede the celebration. Viewing available from 9am to 10am by appointment only at Ian Bendall Funeral Directors, New Market Street, Castle Douglas, 01556503713 on Friday 2nd June.

I've just heard about this and I am so so very sorry to hear and so so very sorry that I am so late hearing. What a lovely chap David was. We befriended each other through a friend in common and he was always supportive, a great raconteur, a wonderful communicator and I'll never forget my time spent with him at laurieston hall, dining on buckwheat waffles and being shown around the grounds...He will be so sorely missed by all who knew him.
