I went to Sutton High Grammar School with Roger from 1958 - 66 and lived just 100 yards away from him. Myself, Roger and Les Williams were best mates. So sad ! Roger was such a lovely person. A brilliant mind but so down to earth and kind. Les and I loved him as a friend. I saw him last at Les's Funeral 5 years ago in Lincoln. On receiving the sad news from Maggie I was so overwhelmed with Grief. My deepest Sympathy go to Maggie and the Boys. Once a Mate always a Mate. See you again soon Dear Rog. Much Love from Peter in Tavistock.

Roger, you will be missed by so many ppl who loved you and looked up to you. You were one in a million. As children ( and as grown ups) we all looked up to you. The best brother i could ever ask for. Again as children you tried to shield us from the bad times and tried to help us along the road to better and brighter things. You will never be forgotten by so many. In my heart forever Roger, so proud to call you my brother .Love you always. Sue x x x
