ThomasWOODSof Willow Park, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully in hospital on Monday, October 21, aged 80 years. The much-loved husband of the late Irene, and lovely dad of Jane, Michael and Simon along with stepchildren David, Graham and John. He was also grandad to many - all of whom he adored. Tom was a loved brother of the late Keith and of John and Kath. He will be remembered affectionately by many nieces and nephews and other members of his family. Well-known by many in the Accrington area, he was formerly a mental health nurse in the NHS; he is fondly remembered by many ex-work colleagues. Tom’s funeral will take place on Thursday, November 7 at 1.45pm at Accrington Crematorium. Please wear Christmas jumpers at Tom’s request.
