John AledWILLIAMS31st January 2025 Suddenly but peacefully in hospital of Bothy Cottage, Penrallt, Whitford aged 80 years. Dearly loved father of Arwyn and the late Gethin, a dear brother of Eifion, and will be sadly missed by Gwyneth.

Funeral Service and Interment at Pen Rhewl Cemetery on Tuesday 25th February at 12.00pm. Family flowers only but donations if desired towards New Imperial Owners Association and Good Companions Holywell Hospital. All Enquiries: J. E. Davies & Son, 2 Halkyn Street, Holywell. Tel: 01352 712203.

From Australia, we would like to help celebrate the life of John Aled Williams after his recent passing.
Aled was a greater than life person.
I first met Aled while visiting the UK in the late 1990's. The family were really welcoming and accommodating. Inspite of not knowing this visitor from Oz, many happy times were enjoyed at Bothy.
Subsequent trips to the UK would always include a visit. Conversation was always a highlight over dinner and a glass or two of Australian red.
In recent years, Aled was restricted by health issues but I have not met a more positive person determined to overcome the difficulties.
If not visiting the UK, contact was kept by regular telephone calls.
I'm saddened by Aled's passing but and I will miss him very much.
