James BarrieVICKERSSuddenly but peacefully on 19th January 2025 whilst in the care of Diana Princess of Wales Hospital Grimsby. Barrie aged 89 years of Cleethorpes. Beloved husband of the late Kath. Dear dad of Steven, Andrew, Karen, Conrad, Zoe and the late April. Dearest father in law, grandad and great grandad. Very dearly loved and respected by all his family and friends and will be very sadly missed. The service is to take place at Grimsby crematorium on Friday 7th February 2025 at 3:00pm.

Barrie is resting at Alexanders Funeral Care, Alexander House, 70 Carr Lane, Grimsby, DN32 8JP to where floral tributes may be sent or if so desired donations in lieu made payable to Cats Protection to National Cat Centre, Lewes Road, Chelwood Gate, Haywards Heath, RH17 7TT

Rest peacefully Grandad Barrie, I know you'll be glad to have Nana Kath, April and the cats close to you again. Thank you for all the lovely memories you made with Alfie these past few years, he will always remember the stories you told him, and you being willing to share you bananas with him! You'll be missed, I'll always remember Me Mum and April coming over and you having us laughing about one thing or another!
Love and hugs- we'll see you again some day, until then I'll think of you every time I see a classic car ❤️
