PeterVERNONPassed away peacefully at The Royal Derby Hospital on Sunday 30th March 2025, aged 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Gwen, father to Alice and Pete, grandfather to David, Jenny, Victoria and Emily, great grandfather to Evie, Robert and Hallie. A loved father in law and brother in law. Peter will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Funeral service to be held at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston on Trent on Monday 28th April 2025 at 11.30am.

No flowers by request please. Donations if desired are invited for Cancer Research UK. These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or may be given at the service. All welcome at Nunsfield House, Alvaston for refreshments after the service. All enquiries to George Simnett Family Funeral Directors Williams House, 77 Sitwell Street, Spondon, Derby, DE21 7FH.
