John GilbertTYLEROn 17th January 2025 passed away peacefully in Woodhayes Nursing Home, aged 91 years of Exeter.

Beloved husband of the late Joyce, dear brother of Maurice and Marion, uncle of David, Julia, Susan and Philip, and great uncle of Nathan.

Funeral Service Friday 14th February Exeter Crematorium 2.00pm, St Paul's Chapel.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired for Devon Air Ambulance Trust, by retiring collection or c/o

Goodbye Uncle John and thank you for all the wonderful times on my childhood holidays visiting Exeter and when you came to Scotland. You leave a big hole in our family but you also leave us the legacy of the movies and pictures you took which will stay in the family for generations to come.

Goodbye Uncle John, you were an influence on me that I’m sure you never fully knew. You leave a big hole in our family but you have also given us so many good memories and better still captured a lot of our childhood holidays on film and in pictures. This legacy in the family will be there for generations to come.
