Passed away suddenly but peacefully on 15th September, aged 77 years.

Beloved husband of Catherine. A much loved dad of Tracey, Katrina and the late Scott and father in law of Kevin and Scott. A loving grandad of Dana, Rhys, Paige, Amber, Daniel, Brandon and Chloe and great grandad to all his great grandchildren.

Eric will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

A celebration of Eric's life will take place at Cowpen Crematorium on Friday 4th October at 3.15pm.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Cancer Research UK. A donation box will be available at the service.

Everyone welcome back to the Bebside Inn following the service for refreshments.

I've known "Uncle" Eric for 36 years, the impact he had on my life was massive. The best advice always given, helping me right up till the very end. Always full of crack and laughter and always had a new site where you could get the best deals. You, my friend were a true character. I'm blessed to have know you. Much love and respect x Wendy Hale
