My grandad Dave , lost for words. Life is so cruel, always the best ones get taken too soon. What a miss you’ll be. Myself and your great grandchildren will miss you forever & always they loved coming over to spend time with you and Marion, Blossom knows you were taken by the angels to heaven , & Your now a beautiful star in the sky which we all talk to. Can’t believe we only seen you a few days before Christmas grandad, I’m absolutely heartbroken. I will look after Marion & my dad for you , so don’t worry.

You were always there for me whenever I needed you & I’ll never forget that. I will miss all the phone calls and voicemails you left me if I couldn’t get to the phone, & the memories that we made I will cherish them forever.

‘Of all the special gifts in life however great or small, to have you as our Grandad was the greatest gift of all.’

Grandad Dave, what a legend you will never know how much you meant to me & my girls. It’s not goodbye it’s see you later , forever & always in my heart.

Davy I have only known you for a short while through going to the clav club on a Sunday but when I did get to know you and your wonderful wife Marion I said to my wife, BAH WHAT A GREAT BLOKE YOU WERE, you and Marion were so friendly and talkative, it was such a shock when I was told that you had passed away. RIP Davy you will be sadly missed. Remembered always Stewart Christine and family.
