Sheila was a loving and exceptionally gifted teacher.
She helped our boys Daniel and Ben and even helped Daniel fund his second degree.
I remember her with enormous gratitude.

I remember Sheila with admiration and fondness. In my early days of working in deaf education, Sheila, though retired, gave of her time and expertise generously. She would come to the Deaf Academy to teach me and a few other colleagues, how to teach Cued Speech. I learnt so much from her about deaf education generally. She was a very kind and talented individual. And her beautiful crocheted gifts within cards were always a joy to receive.
