Marian AnnRILEY(Chester le Street) Passed away on the 31st March 2025, aged 74. Beloved wife of Roy, much loved mam of Dianne & Dawn, mother in law of Anne, grandma of Anthony, Gemma, Michael, Samantha, Christopher, Amy-Louise and Ryan-Ben, great-grandma of Steven and Sienna.

Service to take place at St. Mary & St. Cuthbert's Parish Church on Wednesday 23rd April 2025 at 11.00am prior to Chester-le-Street Cemetery at 11.45am.

Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Marian for British Heart Foundation would be appreciated.

There will be refreshments afterwards at The Garden Farm Pub, Carlingford Road, Chester Le Street, DH2 3EH.

MAM, I cannot believe that from you going into hospital and then returning home that it was only 2 weeks until you left this world with what seemed like a minor illness but then progressed.
I don't think it has sunk in that we will not see you in person and only in pictures and memories.
I will miss your sense of humour as it was on a level with myself.
Don't worry, we will look after Dad until it's time for him to be by your side once again.
Hope you are now spending time with your family that have passed and that you all look after each other there x
