Passed away peacefully at Queen's Hospital on 20th December 2024, aged 81 years.

Dearly loved husband of Dilys, devoted father of Vicky and friend of many.

Special thanks to all the staff on ward 16 for the wonderful care they gave to Bill.

Funeral Monday 3rd February, service 11:30am in the Willow Room at Bretby Crematorium.

Family flowers only please, donations in memory payable to 'Guide Dogs for the Blind' may be made at the service.

Bill was a brilliant man. Never failed to make me laugh. It was a pleasure to look after him and be there for his amazing wife Dilys. He definitely made a beautiful life full of joy and memories for his friends, family and many more. He will be missed very much and will never be forgotten ❤️

I'm sorry to hear about the passing of Bill. I was an old classmate of him at Victoria rd school and got on really well with him. Last time I saw him I think we were both in Morrison's buying Solero's. Since then I have quite often thought will I see him again round the ice cream section. Condolences to his family.
