Dave, being round your house when we were kids was never dull, from the minute you answered the door you you were pranking us, telling jokes, winding Helen up or protecting all callers to the door from rhino. The times id knock on for Helen to be told she was having a nap after a hard day at school but invited in anyway to sit in the living room with you and chat away.
Nelly and David adore you. You left them with the best of all you had to offer. You were the chill dad, the king of dad jokes and a constant in our little quad squad as we grew up. Always a gentleman, thank you for raising one of my best friends into the beautiful woman she is and thank you for the great memories that we will reminisce about forever, good night god bless

Dave you simply were one of a kind & a true gentleman. My best friend’s dad who is a massive part of my childhood and memories.

Thank you for the laughs, the pranks, the dad jokes, but most importantly your kindness. They don’t make them like you anymore Dave, you will be truly missed.
