Sam passed away peacefully in his sleep on 24th February 2025, aged 84 years.

Devoted husband of the late Maureen, loving dad to Stephen, Michael and Joanne, dear father-in-law to Christine and Alison and much loved grandad to Nathan and husband Brad.

Funeral service to take place at West Road Crematorium on Friday 14th March at 12.30pm.

Family flowers only please. A donation box will be provided after the service for Daft As A Brush charity who were a huge support to Maureen.

All welcome afterwards to Meadowfield Social Club, Heaton.

So very sorry to hear about Uncle Sammy's sudden passing my heart goes out to all of you at this sad time.

He was such a great character I remember all the Christmases spent together when we were kids and Uncle Sammy giving me away on my wedding day back in 2000.

Hopefully he is now reunited with Auntie Maureen and other dearly departed loved ones xxx

So very sorry to hear that my uncle Sammy has passed away, he is now with my dad Colin and mam Margaret

I still have memories of us all being piled into the back of the car for a day at the coast and the great nights we all spent at the dog,s

My heart goes out to all of you.
