Andrew JohnPATERSONIt is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew John Paterson, otherwise known as Andy to his friends and family and Paddy to those that will have known him from his earlier days at Plymstock School or from his 40 years of service to the Great Western Railway.
Andy passed away unexpectedly on Sunday 15th December 2024, aged 64 years.
Dearly loved partner to Myra, much loved dad to Natalie and Amy, proud grandad to Nylah, Jude and Joseph, treasured brother to Sue, cousin to Rosa, Melvin and Janice, nephew to Margaret, uncle to Rob and Lawrence and a great friend to many.
Andy will sadly be missed by all of his family and friends and will be fondly remembered for his strong will, friendly nature and his dry and sometimes wicked sense of humour.
The funeral service will be held at The Park Crematorium (Ceremony Room 1) Merafield Road, Plympton, PL7 1UQ on Friday 17th January 2025 at 3:00pm followed by a celebration at The Brook Inn, 33 Longbrook Street, Plympton, PL7 1NJ.
Family, friends and all who wish to pay their respects to Andy are warmly invited to join us as we celebrate Andy's life and give him the send off he deserves.
We hope Andy will be smiling down on us with a twinkle in his eye and a pint in his hand.
