David WilliamPARRIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David William Parr of Exhall, formerly of Corton, Lowestoft, at the age of 78.
David passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with prostate cancer. In his final weeks, he was cared for with outstanding kindness and compassion by the staff at Myton Hospice, Coventry.
A memorial service to celebrate David's life will be held at Exhall Old School Community Centre at 2:30 PM on December 17, 2024. This will be an informal occasion, with no formal dress code. We kindly request no flowers. Instead, if you wish to make a contribution, donations to Myton Hospice in David's memory would be greatly appreciated. Donations can be made online via Myton's website, by phone at 01926 358383, or in person on the day of the service.
For those unable to attend, the service will be recorded and a video will be posted on David's Facebook page after the memorial.
Dave will be greatly missed and we look forward to gathering with family, friends and members of his local community, where David's impact and involvement were so deeply felt.
