DoreenPARKINSONSuddenly on Wednesday 9th October 2024, Doreen, aged 93 years.

Dearly loved wife of Barry, much loved mum of Michael and Hayley, a dear mother-in-law of Julie and Andrew and an adored grandma of Jack, Holly and her husband Lloyd.

Doreen will be very sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Service and cremation will be held at Carleton crematorium on Monday 28th October at 11am.

Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired may be given for Alzheimer's Society c/o the Funeral Director.

How can such a tiny 93 year old lady have the capacity to shine so much love to all who knew her!
Nanny. You are beautiful, gentle, wise, very funny and don’t have a bad bone in your body. You were the bedrock that held your family together. There was safety and security in the purity of your love.
I will so miss chatting to you in our kitchen over tea and biscuits, but look forward to sharing many more cups of tea with you in the life to come.

My beautiful darling mum. I have been blessed all my life to have you. You were the kindest most gentle mum with never ending unconditional love. I miss you so much and will for the rest of my days until we meet again and I can see you smile and hear your laughter again. Until then mum I have years of wonderful memories that we made together and I will treasure them . All my love Hayley Jane xxx

To my wonderful nanny.
The day you left us was the hardest day of my life. You took a piece of my soul with you that day, and that’s okay because i know we will always be together, you have a part of me.
