It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Bas, who died peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Sunday, 8th March 2025, at UHNM Royal Stoke.
Bas was a devoted husband to Liz, a loving father to Julia and Sean, and a cherished Granddad to Finn, Gene, and Rafe.
Family was everything to Bas, and his warmth, kindness, and generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He also touched the lives of many through his business in Specsavers Stafford, and his absence will be deeply felt.
A celebration of Bas's life will take place at Stafford Crematorium on Wednesday, 26th March, at 3:00 pm.
Family's flowers only for the funeral please. However if you would like to make a donation in memory of Bas, then a donation may be made to either Katherine House Hospice or Midlands Air Ambulance.
