Paul was an amazing and talented musician. I worked with him several times when he became the musical director for two plays I directed. He was a kind and generous man with a great sense of humour. Gone far too soon and will be greatly missed.

Paul was the most inspiring, knowledgeable and witty colleague, and I have many happy memories - of wonderful meetings he chaired as my boss, and hilarious meals we shared as friends. He taught me a great deal, including the perfect assessment term ‘cuspy’ (which he surely invented), and I think of him every time I use it. He will be missed.
