Alfred George HenryLISTERIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alfred George Henry Lister, affectionately known as "Alf" who passed away on the 4th of January aged 87 Years. Alf is reunited with his beloved wife Noreen, Alf was a much-loved father to Derek, Alfie & Debbie, a caring Grandfather to his 9 grandchildren and a loving great grandfather to his 4 great grand children, as well as being a loyal friend to many including his beloved border terrier Nell. Alf will be dearly missed by all those lucky enough to have had him in their lives. Alfs warm presence, humour and love touched the lives of all who knew him, leaving an indelible mark on his family and friends. A true gentleman, Alf was selfless in his care of others. Alf dearly loved his family. His love, good humour and memory will endure in our hearts forever.
A service to celebrate Alf's life will be held at Widnes crematorium on Tuesday 4th February at 10:30am.
The family kindly request donations in lieu of flowers for the benefit of Dementia UK. Any donations will be gratefully received.
A reception to celebrate Alf's life will be held immediately after the funeral at The Tavern, Upton Lane, Widnes, WA8 9AF. Anyone who wishes to attend is most welcome.
