I met David when we both worked for Hubron International, in Failsworth. As well as being work colleagues, we also established a strong friendship which continued up until his passing. David was a polite, caring and conscientious man both in work and socially. Within work, we shared a love of science and polymers. Socially, we shared a love of football, where we watched Rochdale, Curzon Ashton and Ashton United together. We'd always try to go for some lunch first before the football match, so I always tried to discover somewhere new to try each time. We also shared a love for craft beer and real ale. On occasions, we'd have a trip into Manchester to sample some beers. David was great company and he'll be forever missed. Whenever we said goodbye to one another, David always used to say "See you Pally". I'll always remember this. Goodbye and Godbless.
Steve.
