Absolutely gutted I didn’t know and get chance to pay my respects to such a lovely man. He had a great impact on my life growing up next door on Claredon Road. What a lovely genuine gentleman. RIP John thanks for the memories. Darren. X

John you was an Angel on earth ..so heaven has truly gained a very special one now. I was blessed to live next door to you for 15 ish years and without your help raising lyndsay with me I honestly don't think I would of coped and lyndsay wouldn't have turned out to be the lovely woman she has become. You were the kindest most thoughtful man I have ever met ..selfless beyond belief. Reunited with your lovely mum and dad. Thankyou for everything now you rest in peace. Though I'm sure you are already chief dog walker. Until we meet again xx
