Peacefully in hospital on Friday 24th January 2025, aged 86 years.

Beloved husband of Evelyn (Lyn), much loved dad of Mark, Tracey & Claire and father in law to Julie & Andrew. Adored grandad of Ben. Dom, Matthew, Connor, Claudia, William & Olivia. Precious great grandad to Sienna & Victoria. Ian will be greatly missed by all of his family & friends. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Blood Cancer UK. Please meet for service at Mountsett Crematorium, Dipton on Wednesday 12th February at 1.15pm. All invited after the service to Ye Olde Cross, Ryton.
