NoraHEAVEYIt is with great sadness that the family of Nora Heavey announce her passing on October 12th 2024 aged 92 years old.
Nora will be lovingly remembered by her children: Elizabeth, Anthony, Nora, Tom and John as well as her precious grandchildren: Ceri, Nikki ,Toni, Ciaran, Athena, Xander, Abigail, Luanna, Alex, Matthew and Tracey and great-grandchildren: Bonnie, Heather, Albert, Aria, Miles, Arthur, Finlay and Elliot. She will also be sorely missed by her son-in-law David and daughters-in-law Donna, Nikki and Debby and many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. The family takes great comfort that Nora is now reunited with her beloved husband Tom, daughter Eileen and granddaughter Kallista.
During her lifetime, Nora was a nurse for over 40 years and a faithful member of the St John Vianney RC Church. She will also be remembered for her strong faith, sense of humour and her desire to help others.
Nora will be welcomed into St John Vianney R.C. Church on Tuesday 12th November 2024 at 4pm. The Funeral Mass will take place at 10.30 am on Wednesday 13th November 2024. At 12:15pm, she will be laid to rest with her late husband at London Road Cemetery.
Afterwards there will be a reception at the Standard Triumph Club.
