DouglasHARDMANof Heightside Villas, Todmorden Road, Bacup, passed away on October 11, aged 89 years.
Douglas was a NHS Ambulance Technician at Stacksteads, Bacup. His interests included art - painting, drawing, gardening, holidays (many of!) and jigsaws. He was formerly a member of Stacksteads Band - played cornet.
Beloved husband to Kathleen, father to the late Paul and the late Raymond, also father to Andrew, Chris and Julie, and step-father to Karen and Robert, a much loved grandad and great-grandad.
A service will be held on Thursday, October 31 at 12.45pm at Knight and Boys, Stackstads conducted by Kathy Unsworth, 1.45pm at Burnley Crematorium and 3pm at Bacup Cricket Club.
