Martin, we were part of the same Tribe 30+ years ago. We knocked about down the pier and arcade, we laughed and drank underage in the Zetland and the Marine. We drank coffee in each other's houses and we kept each other safe. Those times although we didn’t know it at the time, were short. Those days when everyone wanted to be in a rock band, some were, some just had Marshall stacks and amps to annoy their neighbours. Motor bikes clapped out old cars, good times, none of us had money but looking back, how rich we all were. Martin, we kept in touch though Facebook from time to time and you always made me laugh. My heart grieves our loss, but it makes me happy to remember those great times we shared. Our tribe, Andrea Jackson, Chris Taylor, Andy Craven, Bev Wood, Sam Bower, Mike Drinkle, Andy Edgar, your Ste, Nigel Moss, Paul Barnfarther, Colin Stonehouse, Andy Bodner, Tet, sorry if I have forgotten anyone.

Rest easy Martin, you will be missed by me and many others. Lisa (Thornton) Sturley

RIP Martin. You were a great neighbour to us at Windsor Rd, but more than that you were a kind, gentle friend
