I have a lifetime of wonderful memories of Uncle Peter: all day BBQs, Christmas sherries, New Year’s Eve parties, hours spent eating fresh crab, and too many red wine hangovers when Peter stayed up drinking with the youngsters after the rest of the ‘grown-ups’ had gone to bed! We are lucky to have shared so many occasions with the lovely Devney family and will always treasure these times.
To a man who took such great pleasure in everything life had to offer, was a wonderful friend and had always wrapped you in a bear hug and pressed a drink into your hand before you could take your coat off, in your own words ‘Cheers!’; it’s a privilege to have known you.
