Gary JohnDAVYMy devoted husband and soulmate Gary, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, the 31st of March at the age of 61, surrounded with love from his wife Tracy (Tray) and children Jasmine and Jessica.

Gary was an exceptional dad who cherished his daughters, a wonderful father-in-law to Aaron & Stefan and an adored pops to his grandchildren Elsie and Henry. He was also a loving; son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and a genuine friend to his fellow tradesmen.

Gary will leave an immeasurable void in our lives, but we will treasure all of the beautiful and unforgettable memories that he created for us.

Gary requested no funeral, but please take a moment to remember this kind, funny, hardworking man who loved life, ONE CRUISE AT A TIME!

We met Gary in 2012 when he and Simon came to look at doing a major renovation on the house we were buying. We then spent the next 5 months or so in contact daily about the work plans and 3 of those months together at the house. You really get to know each other in those situations and it was an absolute pleasure to get to know Gary. He was absolutely brilliant. He'd say 'are you sure about that' if he thought we were suggesting something that he had a better idea for. Just kind of leading you in another direction and he was generally right on. He made what could have been a very stressful time in our lives, an adventure, we learned so much, had fun along the way and ended up with a great home. Sorry to hear you have gone so soon Gary. Best wishes to your family. Jayne and Alistair
