DorothyDADYOn Friday the 10th January 2025, Dorothy Dady, aged 85, passed away peacefully in Spring Hill Care Home, Oswaldtwistle, with her family around her. Dorothy was a stall holder on Wilcock's knitwear & underwear stall on Blackburn market where she worked up until her retirement in 1998. Her hobbies included playing golf at Baxenden & Clitheroe GC, where she had been a past Lady Captain and Treasurer. She loved spending the winters in Tenerife and also spending time with her family and friends. Dorothy was the wife of the late Alan, mum to John and Suzanne, mother-in-law to Jackie and Craig, and much loved Nana to Katie, Jack, Aimee and Oliver.
A service and Cremation will take place at Accrington Crematorium on Wednesday 29th January at 1.40pm.
