I grew up with Susan so I have very many happy childhood memories of her, we both attended Hyndburn Park nursery in 1958. I moved to Baxenden in 1963 and she followed the year after with her Mum, Dad and brother John. We were together at St John's Primary then went on to Hollins Secondary. We lost touch while I was nursing at Rossendale and Bury while she was at Accrington Victoria. But happily we reconnected when both of us were newly married and kept in touch while our children were young. Sadly we hadn't seen much of each other recently. I have some very funny memories of sitting on her Mother's bed ogling local boys playing football on the rec on Hollins lane. She was such a lovely lady and would do anything to help others in need. Especially with her favorite charities. God Bless Susan you will be missed by many.

Thinking of James, Gemma and family, Marian
