ShirleyCOYLEof Haslingden, passed peacefully at Royal Blackburn on Sunday, December 8th, aged 88.

Much-loved wife of the late Ted Coyle.
Loving mother of David, Stephen, Stuart, Craig and Andrea. Grandma to Loretta, Maxine, Emma, Sam, Josh, Narayani, Sachi and Chundrika.
Much loved great grandma to many.
Wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend.
he will be missed very much.

She was born in Beverley in Yorkshire where she was raised. She worked in the RAF until she met Ted, they then started their short adventure together.
She worked as a seamstress for many years until retirement. Shirley then became a volunteer at Oxfam. She enjoyed her Penthouse at Lacey Court where she was made to feel very welcome.
Shirley loved all sports and her favourite thing to do was have fish and chips by the sea. wonderful loving woman who will be missed by all.

Shirley’s funeral will be at Accrington Crematorium on Thursday, December 19th at 3pm.
Donations in her memory are welcomed for Pendleside Hospice, a charity very close to her heart.

Even though I never got the chance to meet you, your wonderful daughter made me feel like I'd known you for years with all the wonderful memories you shared with her. May you rest eternally in peace x
