Peter Whittaker - Pc 828COOPERof Llanfairpwll passed away peacefully at Ysbyty Gwynedd on 5th September 2024.

Loving husband of Karen, devoted father to Gemma and Leah and a dear brother to Barbara.

PC Cooper proudly served the community of Anglesey and Gwynedd throughout his career as a respected Police officer and will be sadly missed by his family, friends, colleagues and those who knew him.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Pete's life will be held at Bangor Crematorium on Monday 30th September 2024 at 10am.

Family flowers only, donations in memory of Pete would be gratefully received towards Marie Curie and St David's Hospice.

Pete's favourite colour was orange, so a touch of orange in dress is entirely optional.

In 1984 I first met Pete and as for many other new officers Pete guided me through the early stages of my policing career. I was fortunate enough to work with him again some 17 years later. I can honestly say that I held Pete in such high regard , he was to me what every officer should be. Honest , fair , compassionate with a great sense of humour. A great man who will be sadly missed. Im glad that his suffering is over but I for one owe him a great deal and I will always remember him with great respect and fondness. Rest in Peace Cooperman , you were the best
