My beautiful Mum, kind, caring, funny and incredibly resilient.
A sunbeam smile to light the way in the dark with the rhythm of her beating heart. My beautiful Mum. Thank you for loving me Mum. I love you, always did and always will.

I remember being a bridesmaid for Aunty Gill as a young child and I still have the little dress to this day
Aunty Gill was a lovely, caring lady. She always made you feel welcome and she always interested in what you had to say.
I remember when Catherine was borne it was a lovely summer and she was so proud and a doting mother to all three of them.
If there was ever a family occasion at Aunty Gill house we all used to love to go there because her house and food was exquisite
She did a lot of volunteering work at Dougi Mac and gave her time effortlessly
You will be sadly missed by all
Rest in peace

My earliest memory of Aunty Gill ("Aunty makes me feel so old", she used to say) was at her wedding and ever since that day I've only ever known kindness, generosity and hospitality. She was selfless, supportive and caring, always putting her own interests last, yet taking a genuine interest in what others were doing. An accomplished cook and expert in making and decorating celebration cakes meant that any special occasion hosted by Gill was really something to look forward to. Regardless of the numbers involved, she effortlessly prepared a spread that looked like a picture from a magazine. She also had a keen eye for interior design and decoration and not inconsiderable skill with the sewing machine. There's always been Aunty Gill and I never thought of a time when she wouldn't be there with a smiling face, offer of a cuppa and a friendly chat, which always ended up with us having a good laugh.
Farewell, and rest in peace.

I have fond memories of Aunty Gill. She always took an interest in what I was doing and where I was going in life. I remember my babysitting days. She would leave me a tray of goodies. Making sure I wanted for nothing. If only the cousins would have behaved…..just kidding.
Aunty Gill you will be missed by all. May you rest in peace.
