Paul DavidCALLUMIt is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Paul David Callum (410) of Chellaston, Derby - former Superintendent of Derbyshire Police (served 1986 - 2016). Paul lost his brave and dignified battle on Thursday 23rd May 2024, aged 58 years. Precious husband to Jenny, devoted father to Lauren, Megan, Jasmine, Bea and Sebastian. Adored grandad to Farnan and Eugene, much loved son to Ken and the late Ruth, and treasured brother to Wendy, Jerry, Gwen and Natasha. The funeral service will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston on Trent, on Tuesday 25th June 2024 at 10.30am. Family flowers only please. Donations are invited for The Brain Tumour Charity and the Nightingale Macmillan Unit. These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or may be given at the service. In memory of a wonderful gentleman that it was a pleasure to know and work with. Paul will be greatly missed by alot of people. I am so so very sorry for his loss.

To have both worked for and be able to call him my friend is an honour. Paul was incredibly kind and supportive at a time when myself and my family needed just that. An incredibly moving service and the numbers in attendance showing just what he meant to so many. Paul's family were incredibly courageous in the way they stood and spoke and shared their memories. xxxx
