AdrianBOWERWith great sadness, we announce the passing of Adrian Bower, who died at home on the 16th December.

Adrian followed in his father's footsteps, working alongside his brother Anthony in the family's construction business. He was a walker, covering countless miles across Holcombe Moor and beyond.

His love for exploring led him to some of the most beautiful paths in England, Wales, Scotland, and Jersey.

Adrian was an enthusiastic leader of the Sunday Walking Group, uniting people through his passion for the outdoors and his infectious joy of nature. He also enjoyed staying fit through cycling, pilates and dance, and his zest for life remains a true inspiration to those around him.

Adrian was a loving and much-loved dad to Daniel, Rebecca, Abigail, and David, and a special Gramps to Grace, Aleah, Luella, Evie, Toby, Isaac, and Sophia. He was a cherished brother to Angela, Gail, Anthony, and Yvonne, and loving companion to Sandra.

Well-respected and admired by all who knew him, Adrian will be deeply missed.

A celebration of Adrian's life will take place on Friday 17th January, at St. John's Church, Whitworth, Rochdale, at 11am.

Family and friends are warmly invited to join his family at The Ashcroft afterwards.

Family flowers only, but donations to Cancer Research UK or Mountain Rescue are welcome.

For further details, please contact Dixons Funeral Service at 01706 645501.

Adrian's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and he will forever be remembered for his warmth, love, integrity and kindness. Never forgotten - forever missed.

Fond memories of Adrian walking up and down the back of the church at Kay St. Always had a friendly smile and a gentle nature, in spite of his bad back.
Standing somewhere in life's shadows you'll find Jesus.
And you'll know him by the nail marks in His hands.
With grateful thanks for happy times being welcomed into the home he shared with Gill & All the family.
God Bless

Adrian,
I will never forget my first hiking trip with the best fish and chips! Thank you for the map lessons and gorgeous scenery. You will be missed dearly by all, but I know you are enjoying the sights from above. - Amanda
