Formidable, indefatigable, generous, wicked, fun and funny. She threw some of the best parties and made a huge impression on so many of us. She was amazing and lives on through her amazing family, but will still be missed. RIP Aunty Margaret x

I have wonderful memories of Margaret and the family, growing up with David. She always had a smile, and welcomed everyone with open arms (and the best potato salad ever). It was always hilarious to join the family and friends over Christmas, with fun, laughter & party games.

Margaret was always so kind to me personally, when I spent many dinners and overnight stays at the Algar family home in Langland with Margaret as an uncomplaining cook and host. I shall always be grateful to her for her hospitality & generosity.

With condolences to all the family, and in memory of a kind-hearted, friendly, and tolerant lady, who I remember warmly in particular from various visits and sleep overs as a student (and soon after that) around 40 years ago.
