DavidWHALENOn the 27th February 2025, following a long illness bravely fought, David Whalen (Boags), Galla Avenue, Dalbeattie.

Much loved husband of Jean, adored dad of David and dearly loved papa of Erin, Isla and Josh. David was a loved father in law to Jenna and a good friend to many.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will take place in Dalbeattie Parish Church on Friday 21st March at 12 noon. All friends are warmly invited to attend.

No flowers please, but if desired, donations for Dalbeattie Star Youth Football Team may be given at the service.

Boags will be sadly missed by a lot of people near and afar.
We will miss seeing his face at his window in Galla Avenue. Unfortunately we will be in London on the 21st so will miss the celebration of his life. Rest in peace Boags xx

Grief is like the ocean it comes in waves ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is and sometimes overwhelming . All we can do is learn to swim. Thinking if you all 💙
